Starting early Sunday morning, TikTok’s now under new ownership US arm started breaking down just a couple of days after Oracle & Co took the reins. Its For You page algorithm is suddenly unreliable, while features like comments are failing to load or loading slowly, and publishing new videos seems nearly impossible for many people.

Tens of thousands of TikTok users reported issues starting on Sunday, Jan. 24, from app malfunction to total outage, according to Downdectector.

If your TikTok feed has felt a little off lately, it's not just you. TikTok says is still working to fix its service in the US following a power outage at one of its data centers that's caused “multiple bugs” in the app.

Users reported their struggles using social app TikTok days after the company was set up as a majority American-owned joint venture to avoid a US ban.
