After a long stretch and some pretty tricky rehab, this massive red-bellied black snake has finally headed back out to the bush where it belongs. 🐍 A few weeks ago I caught this big unit in the backyard of a homeowner after it and the dog had a bit of a scrap. Luckily the dog came off fine, but the snake copped the worst of it. It had a pretty nasty bite about a foot down from its head and it was absolutely covered in ticks.
